Austin, TX is home to one of about 30 LASIK centers nationwide that are currently practicing intra-LASIK. The procedure differs from traditional LASIK in that it uses a laser to create the corneal flap, rather than a blade. One Austin doctor estimates that the procedure is much safer and more precise.
